Concealed Fall Protection Anchorage Connectors
Introducing Anchors Away , the first embed fall protection anchorage connector designed with safety, aesthetics and practicality in mind.
Anchors Away recessed safety anchorage connector are made of stainless steel and durable, industrial grade, UV stabilized, polypropylene plastic. They can be readily installed, fully assembled inside concrete form work with four fasteners like an electrical box or pot light. (instructions provided). No longer is there a need to repair damaged or improperly installed embed bolts with expensive adhesive anchors and their ongoing collateral pull testing costs. Once the reinforced concrete is cured and form work is removed, these anchorage connectors are ready for use. Their versatility allows them to be installed into walls, roof top pedestals, roof decks, underneath overhangs, and even in place of construction safety straps.

Anchors Away anchorage connectors are hidden behind a snug snap-on cover lid in aftermarket use:   out of sight, out of mind and flush with the concrete surface. The cover lids not only mitigate the unappealing aesthetics of bolt-on stainless anchorage connectors but directly address any concerns pertaining to climb-ability.

Our proven, fully tested,  patented technology (US Patent No. 10,232,200 B2) not only withstands the rigors of construction and after market use, but readily meets the requirements of Canadian CAN/C.S.A. Standard Z271, WorkSafeBC regulations, and requirements of US Federal O.S.H.A. Standard 1910.66.
Anchors Away  products come in three styles with variable flange widths to meet demanding roofing requirements for pedestals, walls, and roof decks, respectively. Standard colours include gray, white and black, but can be custom ordered to match the colour scheme of the project.  Customization can also include recycled plastics to meet the discerning requirements of Leadership in Engineering and Environmental Design (LEED) projects.

With the cover lid secured into place and flush with the concrete surface, all connector related climbing hazards along building guardrails, or parapets are eliminated. No longer are there height restrictions for anchorage connectors installed into perimeter walls. The bar can now be set higher, both literally and figuratively.
The lid can be attached to the housing with a tagline to prevent misplacement and may be pried from its installed state with two screwdrivers to reveal the anchorage connector inside.

Because they are lightweight and stack-able they can be shipped at markedly reduced costs compared to their conventional predecessors. The best part is that their cost is comparable to, if not lower than, their distant cousins.
